Mothers Day CelebrationsParamount International, in Dwarka sector 23, continued the strides that it has been taking in encouraging and nurturing its students, into well rounded personalities. The school recognises the importance of inculcating in its students, the confidence to face the world with a confident smile, and empower them with all the varied gamete of education that is required to back up that emotion. With Mothers Day happening over the previous weekend, the school capitalised on that opportunity through a threefold thought. The primary objective was to recognise the thankless job that the mothers carry out, day on day, without a break, no pay, no promotions and definitely no thoughts of resigning. The children sent out personal invites to their mothers for a chance to let them know how special this bond meant to them. The students of the junior section (Nursery to class 2) were given the chance to invite their mothers for an exciting and fun filled event that was conducted at the school grounds on the 7th of May. The students were given ample opportunity to present their presentation and cultural skills and to further hone them to perfection. This gave the school the prospect to search out talent pools within their sections and to ensure that these special talents are brushed and polished for their future. It is a philosophy at Paramount, that when right from the beginning, if the children are exposed to the stage it not just helps them overcome their fears, but it also helps bring out oratory and cultural talents to the fore, that may otherwise have gone unnoticed. The mothers, who were the guest of honour for the day, were treated to a lavish display of their children showing their affection to their mothers through the various presentations. Maximum participation was encouraged. The mothers were also taken through a spot quiz and a question and answer round, the end of which saw three of the mother being crowned and facilitated as the brightest of the Mothers among present.07/05/2010
